How to get there
Arrival by train
At about 2 hours from Milan and from Basle, Zurich, Lucerne, Zug through the new Gotthard base tunnel. There is a free shuttle bus from the Locarno station to the hotel (please book in advance)
Funicular Madonna del Sasso
The service of the Funicolare Locarno-Madonna del Sasso-Orselina will be interrupted from November 1st, 2024, to March 30th, 2025.
The service is guaranteed by the FART bus (line 3) from Locarno at the bus stop “Stazione FFS” and from Orselina at the bus stop “Stazione Funivia”.
Arrival by car
Take the "Bellinzona Sud Lago Maggiore” exit from the A2 motorway and head towards Locarno. Turn off at the end of the main road into the by-pass tunnel and follow the signs to Locarno. Drive round the large roundabout and continue towards Locarno Monti/Orselina, and the hotel is on the first curve in the road on the right after 700 metres.
